Selling Repurposed Furniture
Furniture Selling Repurposed Furniture
Hi. My sister and I have a booth where we sell repurposed furniture and other small decor. It looks to me like all we need is a seller permit (tax ID to buy wholesale) is this correct?

need a tax id no. for a store, selling vintage, repurposed furniture, home dรฉcor, jewelry, pillows, lamps etc , made from the old to new I am an interior designer and want to register my business. I know I can register my business easily.

My question is how to obtain a resale license ( in case I will sell pieces that I worked on like repurposed furniture and art ) and a federal tax ID. I haven't registered my business yet. But once I do that I can apply for those # online? That will mean that I will file all taxes using that #?

Is there a fee?I will try tomorrow again then, because I did enter state and zip code but it does not offer my location.

So I see here that If I use my name asa a business name I don't need to register my business. But only get a seller permit and a EIN # I understand that is safer for my family to have a LLC. Ok thank you so much!
